Positively impacting the health of women throughout their life journey
At PinkDx, we know that women’s health issues have historically been under-represented in terms of research, medical diagnosis and even attention from women themselves. We aim to help fix this.
We are an early-stage company whose vision is to positively impact the health of women throughout their life journey. We focus on addressing the medical problems that women uniquely face by applying sophisticated scientific approaches to resolve them and provide answers that have an immediate, positive impact on their lives.
We are initially focused on improving the diagnostic outcome for women who have vague symptoms that could signal a gynecological cancer. Each year in the United States, an estimated 1.5 million women present with general symptoms including bloating, pelvic pain and abnormal bleeding, for which the cause is not clear. Over 100,000 women in the U.S. are ultimately diagnosed with a gynecological cancer each year. PinkDx is developing solutions to replace invasive, painful diagnostic procedures and mitigate the significant delays women and their doctors often face in obtaining answers.
Who We Are
Our Approach
We are innovators who like tackling new challenges. At PinkDx, we identify clinical challenges that have not been adequately addressed before and which today prevent women from receiving the best healthcare possible. We then use a broad and deep scientific approach to develop tests that resolve these challenges.
We start by assembling a comprehensive collection of patient samples that represent the broad array of patients that our test will encounter in real-world clinical practice. We extract as much data – including genomic, medical history, clinical and pathological outcome features – as possible from each sample. We then deploy robust bioinformatic tools and machine learning models to develop a test that provides answers, based on each women’s profile.
